Global Foundation\'s social campaign was launched recently (on 19th April 2008) with
a program for the Children of Blind Relief Association premises at Lal Bahadur
Shastri Marg, Near Oberoi Hotel, New Delhi. On this occasion Najma Heptulla (MP,
Rajya Sabha), Rakesh Garg (Chairman, Global Foundation), Vicenti Paulo (Chihale
Chancellor of Mozambique, Dean of the all Africal Diplomatic Corps.), Amita Garg
(Managing Director, Global Reality), Mahendra Swaroop (Corporate Strategy, Global
Reality), Shankar (Secretary, Global Foundation) were also present there.
The musical program was started with a Vandana by the blind children of school
followed by \'man laaga mera yaar garibi me..., vaishnav janto..., dama dum mast
kalandar...\' by Vidya Shah and \'jai jai ram krishna hari...\' by O.S. Arun.
During the programme, Uniforms to all the children of 12th Standard for the year
2008-09 was given by Global Foundation. A Computer, All-in-one printer, voice
recorder printer, toffee and chocolates gift hampers were also provided to the
children by the group. The programme was anchored by Radhika Garg.
On this occasion Rakesh Garg (Chairman, Global Reality/Foundation) said, when the
Foundation approached the Blind Relief Association for providing assistance to them,
it came know that Children of the Blind School are interested for a Gazal and Bhajan
evening program. Therefore the Foundation decided to have a big program for the
children. He said our motto is to motivate and encourage the children and at the
same time we also wanted to entertainment them with a wonderful evening which they
desired for a long time.
